Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

Even though you were probably really dumb when you were a kid, you still managed to learn to read (good work!), and you likely adored Dr. Seuss. The man who created the red-and-white-striped top hat you loved in books and eventually wore to raves in the 90s would have turned 109 this week, and Open Books is celebrating with Dr. Seuss Day.

Major Lazer, the "frenetic dancehall-EDM collective" that Miles Raymer says "specializes in bringing together unlikely combinations of musicians to fantastically decadent ends," performs at the Congress Theater. Dragonette, Rockie Fresh, Gent & Jawns, and Zebo open.

Martha Bayne, founder of the community hunger-relief fund-raiser Soup and Bread (and Reader alumnus), discusses "the social role of soup and its history as a tool for both building community and fostering social justice" at Kendall College.
