12 O'Clock Track / Music 12 O'Clock Track: The Hood Internet, "Do You Give Up Now (Big Data remix)"

The boys of the Hood Internet have had a pretty good 2012, centered around the release of an album of original material, Feat, that proved they're not just just a couple of dudes making jokey mashups out of indie rock and rap songs, but capable beat makers with enough pull to wrangle guest spots from the likes of A.C. Newman. (STV SLV also proved himself a capable interviewer when he talked to Squarepusher for a recent Reader Artist on Artist.) Just before the year closes the pair have released an album-length collection of Feat remixes from underground producers like Doomtree's Lazerbeak and Chicago party starter Willy Joy.
