The Sea and Cake
Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

No technical children are allowed into Schaumburg's Legoland Discovery center this evening, but kids 18 and older might enjoy No Kids Allowed Night, which features, among other things, laser tag.

Along with a couple subjects we profiled in our latest cover story, Reader writer Mick Dumke is a panelist at the Honest Truth Party, an event cohosted by WBEZ and the Reader at Martyrs'. Complimentary booze accompanies gab about the upcoming election and the Obama presidency.

The Sea and Cake appear at City Winery in support of their latest LP, Runner, which Peter Margasak says "sticks to the band's formula, though 'The Invitations,' which is drumless for its first section, feels more ethereal and unmoored than their usual graceful sound." Matthew Friedberger opens.
