The Reader's Agenda: Mon 8/6

Posted By on 08.06.12 at 06:14 AM

Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

Comfort Station in Logan Square hosts Forgotten Chicago: Lecture on the Bloomingdale Train Line, with Terry Banich of Forgotten Chicago sharing insights on the onetime railway and what its future holds.

Also in Logan Square, the Whistler hosts Chicago Movieoke, which is their take on karaoke. Rather than perform a song, participants act out a scene from one of their favorite films.

The Chicago Sister Cities International Festival, taking place at Daley Plaza, is an opportunity for locals to learn more about the cities Chicago considers kindred spirits. Food, entertainment, and crafts are showcased.

For more on these events and others, check out the Reader's daily Agenda page.
