On Saturday the 900 Shops at 900 N. Michigan are hosting A Day for Her, an all-day shopping event featuring 20 percent discounts at participating stores (including Mark Shale, Alternatives Shoes, and Karen Millen) as well as treats including free miniservices at Mario Tricoci. Tickets, which benefit Friends of Prentice (a fund-raising organization for Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Prentice Women's Hospital), are $20 in advance and $30 at the door. The first 75 advance ticket buyers and the first 25 people who buy tickets the day of will receive two complimentary passes to an advance screening of the movie What to Expect When You're Expecting. This weekend west-coast vintage purveyors Decades returns with a pop-up shop featuring shoes, handbags, and dresses from high-end designers. It's at Space519 in the 900 Shops, 900 W. Michigan, on Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from noon to 6 PM.
