Beyond the fringe, there's plenty worth seeing. Our recommended shows include the Collaboraction production of Dark Play or Stories for Boys by Chicagoan Carlos Murillo; The Drawer Boy, in a joint effort from the Filament and Den ensembles; Griffin Theatre's staging of Punk Rock, from hot Brit playwright Simon Stephens; and Annoyance Theatre's comedy A Woman's Path. Court Theatre has a must-see, ironically enough, in Invisible Man, and Reader dance critic Laura Molzahn suggests you try Dance COLEctive's "Built by Fault."
You also can peruse our reviews of Accidental Rapture, Black Pearl Sings!, Clutter, and Love and Money. And check out Justin Hayford's thoughtful, in-depth critique of David Mamet's Race.
