Food Chain / Food & Drink Goose Island collaboration beers on tap at Frontera

Tonight Frontera Grill will tap two new beers brewed in collaboration with Goose Island—Xocolatl and Alma—~~Eater Chicago~~ Grub Street Chicago reports. Goose Island brought the Xocolatl to this year's Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer, and it was one of my favorites, a spiced chocolate barleywine aged in an Evan Williams bourbon barrel that's unbelievably rich and chocolatey. It's $10 a pint, but it's well worth it and would be a good substitute for dessert (or pairing with dessert if you want to get really decadent). I've never tried Alma, a red wheat beer, but it sounds interesting—and at $6.50 a pint, is a little more affordable. There's only one keg of each, so they may not last long.
