Tonight Frontera Grill will tap two new beers brewed in collaboration with Goose Island—Xocolatl and Alma—Eater Chicago Grub Street Chicago reports. Goose Island brought the Xocolatl to this year's Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer, and it was one of my favorites, a spiced chocolate barleywine aged in an Evan Williams bourbon barrel that's unbelievably rich and chocolatey. It's $10 a pint, but it's well worth it and would be a good substitute for dessert (or pairing with dessert if you want to get really decadent). I've never tried Alma, a red wheat beer, but it sounds interesting—and at $6.50 a pint, is a little more affordable. There's only one keg of each, so they may not last long.

Belated but sincere apologies to Carly Fisher over at Grub Street Chicago for the misidentification.
