Tonight Anne Novotny of Frei Designs presents her holiday capsule collection at a cocktail 'do at Post 27, 1819 W. Grand, from 5 to 9. Buy a piece from the holiday collection and get a 20 percent discount on something from the current fall/winter collection, and you'll also be entered into a drawing to win items from Frei Designs and Post 27.
Also tonight, Lill Street Art Center launches its "Merry Metals" series, during which a different jewelry designer will be featured each weekend. This weekend it's Chicago metalsmith Sarah Chapman, who will be present at the opening reception from 5 to 7 PM. The trunk show runs through Sunday.
Starting Friday, New York-based label Rag & Bone pops up at Apartment Number 9, 1804 N. Damen, through Sunday. Items include men's and women's clothes, shoes, and accessories, which are offered at a 20 percent discount for the duration of the pop-up. There's also a party for the event (as well as Apartment Number 9's tenth anniversary) from 5 to 8 on Friday.
