The Chicago Literary Hall of Fame might beef about our city's exclusion from that list. CLHOF's second annual induction ceremony is tonight—the 2011 honorees are Cyrus Colter, Theodore Dreiser, Harriet Monroe, Mike Royko, Carl Sandburg, and Ida B. Wells.
The event is at 6 PM at the Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S. State. It's free, but registration is required, online or by phone (312-747-8184). Rick Kogan hosts.
