Get your hot little hands on the good stuff Friday night, when there's a preview party for the Vintage Bazaar. The event brings together 14 vendors offering clothes, furniture, home decor, and all sorts of cool old stuff all weekend long. Friday's party is from 7 to 10 and includes free appetizers and a cash bar from Longman & Eagle. Tickets are $20, which includes one drink ticket. Admission is free on Saturday and Sunday, when hours are 10 AM to 7 PM. It's at 2133 N. Milwaukee.
Also on Friday, Lakeview boutique p+L, 2956 N. Clark, celebrates its fourth birthday with a party from 6 to 10 that includes a performance from Chicago singer and songwriter Jennifer Hall, organic and vegetarian eats, and margaritas.
On Saturday, Michelle Tan's Bucktown boutique (1872 N. Damen) offers 10 percent off everything in the store all day.
Also on Saturday, Eskell, 1509 N. Milwaukee, hosts the first-anniversary party for Bike Fancy, the bicycle street-style blog run by Time Out Chicagoassociate photo editor Martha Williams. The store is offering discounts all day, and then from 5 to 8 there'll be cocktails and raffles.
Finally, Lincoln Park's Art Effect, 934 W. Armitage, is offering 20 percent off clothing and accessories through Sunday.
