Film Ben Sachs on Alain Resnais

Beginning in mid-November, Reader contributor Ben Sachs will teach a Monday-night survey on French filmmaker Alain Resnais as part of Facets Multimedia's schedule of evening classes. Films to be discussed and screened (by DVD projection) are La guerre est finie (11/14), Providence (11/21), Love Unto Death (11/28), Melo (12/5), I Want to Go Home (12/12), and Wild Grass (12/19). Classes are $125, $80 for Facets members.

This class has suddenly fallen off Facets' night school description/registration page. Is it still going on?

Unfortunately, it's not. We had to cancel it due to low attendance, but we intend to offer it again in the spring. Thanks for checking in, Linda.
