This year's cold and wet spring has been a challenge for farmers, but it can be just as challenging trying to figure out what to do with their early spring crops. Green City Market
is offering a bit of help in that department by hosting cooking demonstrations featuring local chefs. This Wednesday it's Paul Virant of Vie
and the soon-to-open Perennial Virant
The farmers' market runs 7 AM to 1 PM at the south end of Lincoln Park between Clark and Stockton and at its peak will have nearly 60 vendors. The chef demos will be presented at 10:30 AM at both Wednesday and Saturday markets. Click here for the current roster.
