Interviewees discussing the evolution of their own ideas of race, gender, love and sexuality include Tyler Perry, Roger Ebert, Anthony Mackie, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Nia Long, Isaiah Washington, Vanessa Williams, Jasmine Guy, Larenz Tate, and Diahann Carrol. Coproducer Sheryl Lee Ralph narrates.
