Last fall, local filmmaker Daniele Wilmouth (Eleanore and the Timekeeper) won a commission from the Jaffe Fund for Experimental Media and Performing Arts, Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC), and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to fund "Marching Banned," a 10-minute, Super 16mm dance film choreographed by Peter Carpenter and featuring everyone's favorite circus punk marching band. Wilmouth is raising $4,000 on Kickstarter to pay for distribution, and her the pitch video by Jon Steinmeier, David Christopher Krause and Sharon Lanza is so entertaining that you really do want to watch them ask you for money.

The Kickstarter page promises Mucca Pazza performing two or three songs, including "Fanfare," "in a variety of inappropriate locations, and interacting with the people and architecture of these spaces." Rehearsals started Sunday for the April/May shoot.
