Visual Art Former Art Institute of Chicago Head Is Dead

James N. Wood, who headed the Art Institute of Chicago for a quarter century and was serving as president of the J. Paul Getty Trust, was found dead in a sauna in his Brentwood, California, home Friday. According to the Los Angeles coroner, Wood, 69, died of atherosclerosis.
