Hey, you know the proposed food truck ordinance? The one that was going to be introduced at City Council this morning that would allow chefs to cook on board their trucks if it survived the long and sweaty sausagemaking process?

Well, 32nd Ward alderman Scott Waguespack says he's still working on revisions and it ain't ready yet: "We are working on a very large plan for Chicago that will create jobs and business opportunities," he says. "It's the right plan and it will succeed despite the details that need ironing out."

It's a slow road. Don't say I didn't tell you so. Look for him to turn it in at the next full council meeting, he says.

what about the disgusting corn carts littering our streets and parks? Will they be replaced by the trucks? If so...I'm all for this ordinance.
