Politically and Fashionably Incorrect?

We know that first ladies and female politicians come under scrutiny for their wardrobes, while men generally get a pass. However, Japanese prime minister Yukio Hatoyama is getting called out by the fashion police—which, according to CNN, reflects a general slide in his approval rates. The Huffington Post has a slide show of some of his more questionable choices. Hatoyama probably further suffers from comparisons with suave former prime minister Junichiro Koizumi, who delighted political observers with his chic suits and Richard Gere hair.
