A gruff-but-lovable biker (Curt Massof) reluctantly takes responsibility for his moppet daughter (Olivia Walby) from the girl's junkie mom (Ruby Harris); the arrangement grows on him, and eventually he fights to keep her. Annabelle & Bear, directed by Michigan filmmaker Amy Weber, screens Tuesday 5/4 in the Midwest Independent Film Festival.

Update: It's sold out.

Doors open at 6 PM, and there's a demo of new Canon cameras at 6:30. Annabelle & Bear screens at 7:30, preceded by animator Daniel Bigelow's music video for Oh My God's "Bring Yourself." At Landmark Century Centre, 2828 N. Clark St. Here's the trailer:
