Three good stories on Chicago pols and politics in this week's issue are stirring readers' emotions, but a fourth is really striking a nerve: Deanna Isaacs's piece on the apparently heavily clouted Shannon Rovers and pipe band expert Bill Currie's lonely crusade against them. One commenter makes his point with the help of some videos, comparing three bands: the Rovers, a better local pipe band, and one of the best pipe bands on earth. Video links below the fold.
