Singer/songwriter Matthew Kerstein performs a free hour-long set on Tue 2/23 at 6 PM in Puck's Cafe at the Museum of Contemporary Art (220 E. Chicago). Kerstein, who founded the band Brighton, MA (named after his hometown) after leaving the Scotland Yard Gospel Choir, will play as part of the Magical Musical Showcase series, in which the MCA asks local venues to present favorite or emerging artists (he was Schubas's choice). Admission to the museum is also free all day until 8 PM.
