If you missed James Kennedy at the Funny Ha-Ha reading Tuesday night at the Hideout, you can catch him this evening at 57th Street Books reading from his novel The Order of Odd-Fish, which is now out in paperback from Delacorte Books (with new cover art).

Read Kennedy's highly inventive and entertaining stories from past Reader fiction issues, "The Most Dangerous Beard in Town" and "The Lam of Hal Hamburger."

Hey, and that new cover art is by fellow Chicagoan, graphic novelist Paul Hornschemeier, who also did the art for "The Lam of Hal Hamburger"!
