Three Chicago-area independent bookstore owners—Roberta Rubin of the Book Stall at Chestnut Court in Winnetka, Augie Aleksy of Centuries & Sleuths Bookstore in Forest Park, and Allison Platt of Bookie's Paperbacks & More on West 103rd—discuss their businesses at a Society of Midland Authors program tonight at 7 PM at the Cliff Dwellers Club.
