Tonight from 6 to 9 Connect in Wicker Park is having a launch party for One Origin jewelry, designed by SAIC alum Viviana Langhoff. Select items from eco-conscious clothing line Nau will be 30 percent off.

At the same time, the Denim Lounge (2004 W. Roscoe) hosts a girls' night out with wine tastings courtesy of Lush, adult toys from G Boutique, and 25 percent off store merch.

Night owls can head over to the Underground at 11, where Sofia Vintage puts on a show of spring looks, modeled by local TV anchors and members of the fashion media.

And there's more . . .

The monthly Randolph Street Market returns this weekend, indoors for the winter. Vendors include indie designers and vintage dealers offering men's and women's clothing accessories from the 1940s through the 90s. Among the latter: the dynamic duo of Marydee Reynolds of Saffron Vintage and Ariane Prewitt, who carry amazing vintage clothing, including designer pieces by Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Cardin, Lanvin, Sonia Rykiel, Geoffrey Beene, Chloe, and Alaia. Tickets are $10, $8 if you buy online.

Designers take note: On Saturday, Annie Novotny of Frei Designs, Abigail Glaum-Lathbury, Lara Miller, and Melissa Baswell of Mountains of the Moon team up for a fabric and notions sale. Discounted materials include organic and sustainable fabrics as well as silks and wool. It's from 11 to 6 at Novotny's store and studio in Pilsen, Workshop.

Ms. Langhoff's design is bold, fresh, unique and different. I think you will be hearing a lot about this designer in the future. She is trully brilliant!
