DADT As Canary in the Coal Mine

Posted By on 01.25.10 at 01:41 PM

I've been surprised that the Obama administration hasn't taken action on the idiotic ongoing babysplitting that is Don't Ask, Don't Tell, not because it would make sense (that's ceased to be a criterion for me) but because it seemed like the lowest of low-hanging fruit, not just for progressives but for the public at large, and would put the GOP back on its heels. Unfortunately, The Advocate is extremely pessimistic. Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal (!!!) is running op-eds excoriating the administration on its lack of attention to the subject.
