The Trib has a profile of Metropolitan Water Reclamation District president Terrence O'Brien, who's running for Cook County Board president. It's worth a read, as is Mick Dumke's July post about O'Brien and the MWRD, in which he calls out O'Brien for not eliminating personal use of taxpayer-funded late-model cars, and praises him for improving the organization's reputation as a patronage dumping ground.
