First up is Sun-Times writer Mike Thomas and The Second City Unscripted: Revolution and Revelation at the World-Famous Comedy Theater on Saturday, December 12, at 1 PM; in our fall books special issue Albert Williams called it "both an entertaining read and an essential addition to the literature of Chicago theater history."
Later on Saturday at 3 PM Second City alum George Wendt (of Cheers fame) signs his memoir, Drinking With George: A Barstool Professional's Guide to Beer.
And on Sunday, December 13, at 2 PM Kim "Howard" Johnson signs The Funniest One in the Room: The Lives and Legends of Del Close; he'll be joined by "several notable Second City alumni."
