Tonight a bunch of local designers and businesses are getting together to present their wares at the second annual Holiday Shopping Jubilee. Shop for fabric belts, necklaces, and other accessories by Coco Irene, feathered and bejeweled hair clips and hats from Love, Lulu Mae, and jewelry by Chic Gems. Other potential gift items include bath and body products from Cheesecake Handmade Beauty, home stuff and art from PB n Jam, stationery and cards from Sweet Papier, and photo packages from Vavoom Pinups. It's from 6 to 9 PM in the lobby of the Theater Building Chicago, 1225 W. Belmont.

You can shop local tomorrow too, from 5 to 9 at Shop in Chicago at the Drake, but you'll have to dress up: no jeans allowed. Participating retailers and deisgners include Eclectica, Sophia Forero, and Ms. Catwalk. Also on tap: free makeup applications from Dior and manicures from Aniko Salon and Spa. RSVP here.

Also tomorrow, Wicker Park eco boutique Greenheart holds a launch party for World Shoppe, an e-commerce site offering fair-trade, handmade, and green products from around the world. Copper and brass jewelry from South Africa will be highlighted, and the wine and apps are from that country too. It's from 5 to 7.
