Zespy says the shop will stock everything distributed by CID’s three dozen or so labels—which include Dischord, Constellation, Sickroom, and Trouble in Mind—but it will also carry plenty of product from outside the distributor’s stable. In the coming weeks, as the store beefs up its inventory, it will add a selection of board games as well as basic home audio equipment—on consignment from, respectively, Cat & Mouse and Saturday Audio Exchange. Zespy lives in the building and he’ll be open for business through the weekend, from noon till 9 PM. Starting next week the shop will keep those same hours every Thursday through Sunday. Logan Hardware “officially” opens in January, and it shares CID’s phone number: 773-235-5030.
