Chicagoland In Veterans/Armistice Day News

I'd missed this before, but last week Gen. Casimir Pulaski was named an honorary U.S. citizen.
Elsewhere, Matt Yglesias laments the fact that America doesn't celebrate Armistice Day. I disagree - Armistice Day became Veterans Day in America in 1953, in the wake of WWII, for the purpose of honoring all veterans - but it's an interesting point. To be pickier with Yglesias, it's not a possessive.
