Free Shit / Swag 10/6-10/27 — Free Lunch and Lecture Series at REI

Every Tuesday in October, REI's Lincoln Park store (1466 N. Halsted) will host "Lunch and Learn," a series of free noon lunch lectures on a variety of outdoor activities; attendees get their choice of a free Chipotle chicken, steak, or veggie burrito.
Each week there'll be a different topic, including "Getting Outdoors in the City" (10/6), "Quick and Easy Volunteering Ideas" (10/13), "Introduction to Action Sports (Biking, Paddling, Running, & Camping" (10/20), and "Introduction to Winter Sports (Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowshoeing and Ice Climbing)" (10/27).
