Cycle Chic: Hambone Designs Bike Bags

This weekend the New York Times profiled some "accidental entrepreneurs," people pushed toward their new calling by the loss of a job. Among them is Lisa Marie Grillos who after getting laid off from her gig as a Williams-Sonoma production manager started Hambone Designs with her brother, Herman Barnagan, making stylish bike bags that fold over the cross bar.

The nice thing about the design is that you can snap it off and carry it as a clutch (or, er, a discreet man bag, if you're a guy).

More versions—in a smaller size and materials such as cotton, leather, and oilcloth—are available at the sibs' Etsy shop.

The logos on the bag is so complicated and lovely. But I think it can carry very light items.Am I right?
