Bucky's Back

Scott Smith and John Fromstein's love letter to Madison and examination of Wisconsin's most mischievous mustelid returns to Landmark's Century Centre on Tuesday 9/1.

As detailed in my May feature story, Being Bucky takes viewers inside the UW PR machine and explores what it means for the seven young men who don the badger mask.

Being Bucky screens Tuesday 9/1 as part of the Midwest Independent Film Festival at Landmark, 2828 N. Clark. Doors at 6 PM.

Panel discussion at 6:30 on Getting Your Low-Budget Film Made with professors from festival sponsor the Illinois Institute of Art. Screening at 7:30.

After-party at Forno Diablo, 433 W. Diversey. Tickets $10-15.
