* Windy Citizen is throwing a party tonight at the Saluki Bar, 1208 N Wells, featuring the music of the Clout Meisters and Patrick McDonough of ChicagoClout.com.

* Gapers Block celebrates its 6th anniversary on Friday 9/4 at Metro, featuring the Hood Internet and other acts; it's free if you get in before 9:30, $6 afterwards.

I went and it was a great time. The band rocked and the old dude playing the harmonic was a retired city worker. Nice bunch of computer nerds.
