It's hard to accept, but it will be fall sooner rather than later. Maybe the unseasonably cold weekend they're predicting will put you in the mood for this trunk show at Tula for New York-based sweater line Inhabit; it runs Thursday through Sunday. Get a free sweater-care kit with purchase.
Shop for a cause: Tonight from 4 to 8 PM a slew of Bucktown shops, including Michelle Tan, Tangerine, and Joe's Jeans, are taking part in Shop Around Damen, a benefit for Dress for Success, which outfits needy women with job-interview-appropriate clothing. You get 15 to 25 percent off merchandise and there's a party from 7:30 to 9 PM at Northside Bar & Grill. Tickets are $30, $25 if you're not a member of Young Executives for Success.
