Chicago Film Race

Michael Sternoff's film racing meta-narrative Director's Cut won the 2008 Chicago Film Race, and took third in the national competition.

Wednesday, 8/12 is the deadline to sign up for the 3rd Annual Chicago Film Race, a 24-hour speed filmmaking competition that runs from 10 PM Friday, 8/14 from 10 PM Saturday, 8/15.

Completed films (up to four minutes long) will screen Thursday, 8/20 at the Portage Theater, 4050 N. Milwaukee. Winning entries will advance to the North American competition, for a shot at $40,000 in cash and prizes.
