In celebration of its tenth event in Chicago in just over two years, Pecha Kucha Night Vol. 10, next Tuesday from 8 to 9 PM, will be free (it's normally $10). It'll also move from its usual location at Martyrs' to the Hyde Park Art Center, where HPAC director Chuck Thurow, poet Kevin Coval, architects Darya Minosyants and Ryan Johnson, filmmaker Karen Carter Lynch, and other artists and creative types will have 6 minutes and 40 seconds each to present up to 20 slides of their work. Kate Lorenz and Peter Exley emcee.
