Since I don't listen to radio very much, save for WFMT (and WBEZ through the Web site), I hadn't previously heard Lin's Bin on WXRT. It's singular and remarkable - I'm kind of surprised such a beautiful little thing is on what's left of FM rock radio. Definitely give "Why Do We Live in Chicago?" a listen.

Lin's Bin is my absolute favorite bit of Chicago radio. Lin keeps me company while I'm making dinner. His essays are all at once witty, nostalgic and contemporary. I adore Lin's Bin.
