The Midwest Independent Film Festival is giving out passes to a free preview screening of Food, Inc., tonight at 7 PM at Landmark's Century Centre, 2828 N. Clark. Click here for passes. Screening is overbooked to ensure capacity. Arrive early to get a seat.

I thoroughly enjoy the free categories of the Reader, but my main problems with every one of the events is there is never a capacity posted or a time when seating will begin. Coming over an hour early seems to be never enough to make it to events and i must say the amount of people angrily turned away eventhough they make sure to make 1-1.5 hours in advance far outnumber the people who are actually able to get in.
