Asian cult cinema and a side of noodles

Every Sunday night from 6 to 9 PM, Rodan, 1530 N. Milwaukee, offers free Asian cult cinema, $3 bowls of Asian noodle soup, and $3 beer specials as part of its Soupline Cinema series. This week's movies are Tokyo Drifter (1966), a yakuza actioner about a hitman on the run, directed by the unparallelled visual stylist Seijun Suzuki, and Siu-tung Ching's Hong Kong fantasy A Chinese Ghost Story (1987), starring Leslie Cheung as a tax collector holed up in a haunted monastery.
