The Super Bowl for local Bourdain fans takes place Monday night at 9, when the Travel Channel airs the long awaited No Reservations Chicago episode. Most of the spots he visited aren't new to you and me (except for Paul Kahan's backyard), but it's that snarky pat on the head we're all looking forward to. Plus, Bourdain was led by some of the most fervid and talented food writers in town, including Peter Engler and the magnificent Louisa Chu, his chief fixer, who filed a briefing in today's Sun-Times on everything the man ate while he was here.

The Silver Palm, another stop on the tour, is hosting a viewing party. Call owner David Gevercer for reservations, 312-810-0624.
