More from Martha

Posted by Mike Sula on 01.08.09 at 11:55 AM

Have you noticed that Mike Gebert, he of the mulefoot videos, has a new Sky Full of Bacon podcast up? This one features urban foraging expert Nance Klehm, whose exploits have been covered extensively on this blog by our friend Martha. Yes, that Martha, whose inaugural Soup and Bread event at the Hideout could not be thwarted--even by an armada of fire trucks, Nicor gas trucks, ambulances, and squad cars attending to a gas leak on Wabansia.

What? You say you want more from Martha?

Well, she also pinch hit Food & Drink this week with a fine piece on Josh Deth's nascent Revolution Brewing Company. So there.

Thanks for the link. Yeah, Martha's like the Tony Rezko of Chicago food. Soup is f'ing valuable, I'm not just gonna give it away!

I don't understand this post -- it's so insidery. (I have to click on a link to find out who "Martha" is?) Are you writing for your friends or readers?

Well, an item about the mysterious Martha and her soup event IS directly below this one, not to mention on every food blog in town in the last week.
