Former AIC curator takes the fall at LA MOCA

Former Art Institute of Chicago curator Jeremy Strick is taking the fall, if not all the blame, for financial problems at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, which he's headed since he was recruited from AIC in '99.  Developer and art patron Eli Broad has come to MOCA's rescue with a $30 million pledge; in a Los Angeles Times interview Strick says his resignation facilitated a "resolution."
