OK, it's not perfect--as far as I know you can't get real Cuban bread in Chicago (anymore). But Philip Ghantous, a Lebanese-American actor from Peoria, comes pretty damn close. This week in Omnivorous I write about Ghantous and Cafecito, his four-month-old South Loop loncheria.

His sandwich's are amazing. I drive 2 hours from Bloomington, and I've been there four times!
