Party Pooper

London's Daily Mail reports that Chicago Symphony Orchestra music director-elect Riccardo Muti had a "hissy fit" and pulled out of conducting a private concert for Prince Charles's 60th birthday this week, after Queen Elizabeth asked him to shorten the program. "If it wasn't such a disappointment to both the Queen and the Prince of Wales it would almost be funny," confided someone the Mail identified only as a "senior royal source."
