Performing Arts / Onstage / Arts Charna Halpern talks comedy with physicists

Charna Halpern, cofounder and owner of iO Theater, recently went to Switzerland with some iO performers to teach improv to physicists at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research. While she was there a reporter for the Wall Street Journal followed her around. The piece ran yesterday, along with a video.
Charna told me she had a fun trip but admitted that after seeing and hearing more about CERN's massive particle accelerator, she's worried it might create a black hole that will swallow the earth.
