Legendary Shack Shakers get more legendary

Tonight when the Legendary Shack Shakers play at the screening of Colonel J.D. Wilkes's film Seven Signs at the Lakeshore Theater, they'll be bringing their newest member: ex-Chicagoan Duane Denison, a guitarist of wealth and taste who knows when to hold back on the taste and let 'er rip.

I read your review of this show where you say that hipster respect for southern culture is a fascination with "poverty and tribalism". Funny how you don't have a problem with the poverty and tribalism of Hip-Hop...or is it that said genre is black, and therefore exempt from being judged as harshly as whites? I suspect that your stance is one of the typical white bourgeois leftist who sees blacks as 'noble savages' who can't be held accountable for their actions.
