You can't do that in a fire station

Firefighters can use city-owned computers at fire stations that allow them access to the city's intranet as well as limited Internet access to sites such as Firehouse Magazine, she said.

Perhaps the EFF can take up their case, but Firehouse Magazine seems like interesting reading, particularly the University of Extrication, the Street Chemist series, and obviously the Photostories section. It's not like the Tribune has a photomontage of firefighters pulling a horse from a frozen lake ("The combined efforts worked as a last surge of equine strength along with a joint effort by the firefighters helped four hooves to step out on to the shore"). There's a whole market of deeply fascinating industry journalism out there in the world.
