It's August everywhere

Tracy Letts's widely praised August: Osage County, which Kerry Reid called one of the best American plays of the last ten years, received accolades from the New York Times's Christopher Isherwood. He thinks it falls short of being a "fully achieved work of art," but he does call it "hugely entertaining" and says that "Mr. Letts appears ready to emerge as a major contender in American playwriting himself."
