Don't mind me, I'm just an angry blogger

The Sun-Times stumbles across the Alvin Weems shooting:

People constantly attack blogs for their lack of ethics or whatever, but it would be considered a gross dereliction of duty for any respectable blogger to write about a story without giving due credit, and a link, to the source who broke it. It's a good policy, not just in ethical terms but because it gives readers access to a broader range of information.
