More on the national obsession with all things porcine (or is it just mine?): I received three wonderful pig-related gifts this season. First, a package of Uncle Oinker's Gummy Bacon, which features a handy "bacon viewing window" and safe handling instructions thoughtfully warning consumers not to fry or microwave the contents. Next I recieved two sets of pig-shaped corn holders, with stainless steel prongs, which make me sorry that it isn't July. And finally I got a pig-shaped battery powered Crumb Vac to clean up after human pigs.

Interestingly, all three were made in China. Wake up America.

I received a tin of 15 adhesive bandages imprinted with the image of bacon strips. Can't wait to get a cut, scrape or grease burn. Brand name is Accoutrements -- I'd post an image, but that does not seem possible (or is it?).

I have those too! I've been very conservative with them. They're only for special occasions, like a bacon grease burn. Gummy Bacon is also made by Accoutrements.

What, no LTHForum Pork Clock? I hear everyone at Time Out has one.
